Watched Lord of the Rings Two Towers. I reflected on a post I read on a fellows blog today about the child killing scenes in Star Wars. In my mind I compared them to the scenes in LOR where the children were being dressed for war and given weapons. More and more child killing will creep into Hollywood minds. It's not a new theme coming from Biblical scenes of child massacre to kill the likely hero. It doesn't work but that won't stop it from happening. I thought of how so many people were trying to portray LOR as being Christian. No way no how. God hates magic and magic users and any such display is rebellion to Him. How many times did He warn the Israelites to stay away from astrologers and such? Many. Everyday there is more and more witchcraft and astrology and spell casting on TV, especially in cartoons where it can so easily influence young minds to believe that magic is good. Magic is evil and it costs the user to use it. White magic, good magic, druidism, warlocks, witches, spellcasting, using familiars, using natural items to generate a force, gaia, chi, whatever you want to call it, it's all bad. Probably the best thing to do in this day and age is to severely monitor every program that is watched by yourself and your kids. Me too. I watch way to much of aliens and murders and rapes on TV. It's searing my conscience so that I don't have a resistance against it. A feeling of man that is so wrong and turning the channel or turning off the TV when I see crap that God has said is crap. Remember that we will be responsible for enjoying the sins of others as much as our own sins.
