A blog about me and my life. Stages that I'm going through, struggling with weight loss, dealing with a disability, family growing older and farther apart.

A n00b ie but sorta blog journal creation I suppose
I haven't thought much about blogging. I have thought alot about making a journal for my kids to read of how crappy my life was and perhaps still is. I was watching Judging Amy and the goofy assistant on there was blogging and it caught my interest a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking of the situation of the decline and fall of America and decided to take the plunge today. I'm not sure where or what direction this will go in so I'll start with my current irons in the fire. I'm unemployed and living at home with mom. She wants me here (for reasons discussed later) but we grate on each other's nerves. I received a call about a local driving job hauling dirt to make a 2-lane road from Brinkley to Walnut Corner Arkansas which passes through my hometown of Marvell Wednesday. They wanted a copy of my driving record. I had one from December so I whited out the date, made a copy, and turned it in. I don't have any tickets or wrecks so I'm covered. I received in the mail a half dozen applications from children's homes who need a houseparent or assistant house parent. These are almost all live-in positions and most are out of state. I have a desire to start my own youth home but having no money and no reputation puts me out a bit. I received 8 Fur-Fish-Game magazines from the 70's that I bought off Ebay as well as an email from Ebay saying my account was suspended until I paid my bill ($400+). I returned two books to the Library in West Helena, L'Amour's Mountain Valley War and McAffrey's The Ship Who Searched and renewed two other L'Amour books. I played Colonization by Sid Meier. I began a couple of game .iso downloads on Bearshare (www.bearshare.com). I BBQed some chicken quarters and hamburgers and boiled some red potatoes that I bought at Kroger in Helena Ark, 3.99 for my 10 lbs. I went to legal aid and to the court house to clean up my record as I had some previous felonies. It was a rabbit chase though because no one could help me except to suggest some lawyers. I sent emails to said lawyers fishing for a price to have my record expunged, necessary if I want to work with youth and also if I want to hunt with firearms again which I do. I spent part of my evening looking up hunting and fishing regulations at http://www.agfc.com/index.html as well as applying for some deer hunting permits that I may or may not use. I read up on hunting feral hogs in Arkansas. I set up some tasks to complete on my calendar for making several web stores as well as starting a kennel.I looked up some topographical photos of where I used to hunt at. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know and didn't point out an island I know about.I looked at several game trail camera photos and priced the camera's themselves. I'm going to set up several feeder locations and a couple of cameras to see what's in my woods. It's late now and I'm going to lay down and read some old Fur-Fish-Game magazines. I have to get up and go wash clothes 20 miles to my Grandmother's in Lexa Arkansas tomorrow or Sunday. I need to go to church again. I've been out way too long.Sleep Sweet. Jason
