I liked MASH the tv show for years and then one day I watched part of the movie where Frank Burns was reading his Bible in his tent and the other docs harassed him until he had to leave. I never realized that Frank was meant to be a Christian and you wouldn't know it from the TV show where he is portrayed as being in an adulterous relationship with the head nurse. I don't like MASH as much now. I love the saving of life and how they stuck together through thick and thin but actually dislike the two main doctors. MASH isn't as cool now as it used to be and had I been there I would have been Frank and the Chaplain's best friends.
